About Me

A focused, dedicated & multi talented professional with skills in a broad range of areas, I am highly motivated towards positive outcomes for my clients and am thorough and professional in my approach - but not afraid to embrace new ideas and concepts.

I am particularly interested in informal education and learning outside of the classroom, as well as helping young people broaden their horizons, raise their aspirations - and helping them find the skills to meet them.

I currently work for West Berkshire Council and am responsible for the provision of information, advice, guidance and support for young people who are Not in Employment, Education or Training - or at Risk of not being in employment, education and training.

I also do adhoc support work for schools and colleges, supporting and embedding the Gatsby Benchmarks in the school, providing Labour Market Information and Intelligence briefings, and support schools meet their Personal Guidance benchmarks where existing school based provision has been unable to work with a client (for example, under the care of Medical Home Tuition, Electively Home Educated, working with Youth Offending Team). I am also attached to our Virtual School and provide outreach and Risk of NEET support to young people in care, as well as CareLeavers post-18 as required. 

In addition, I work with clients with an EHCP who are transitioning to employment or training, and supporting those clients with additional needs entering the labour market.
