2025 strategy

The CDI's 2025 strategy launched in December 2021 and clarifies our purpose, establishes a clear direction and enables us to prioritise future investment.

The strategy was developed with input from members, the CDI team, the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee, associates and stakeholders.

It builds on our successes to date and sets out a path to grow the CDI as the professional body for career development, increasing our impact for members and in championing the profession.

Overview of the strategy

The strategy sets out our intention to increase the positive impact we have for our members and in championing the sector. We will achieve this through four areas of focus: broadening membership, strengthening standards, influencing change and working for a fair future. These pillars are underpinned by driving new revenues streams to have the funds to invest, developing the skills and capability for a digitally enabled future and reviewing our governance to ensure it remains robust and transparent as we grow.
