What is this Community of Practice all about?

Since launching in September 2019, we have made this forum:

  • A primary way of linking and connecting careers leaders locally, regionally and nationally
  • A major go to resource for careers leaders
  • The online place where your questions will be answered by experts

Features include:

  • Information sharing
  • Q&A section
  • Resources
  • CPD

Open access forums frequently suffer from information overload and inappropriate advertising, so the new CoP for careers leaders is a closed forum. Membership of the CoP is part of our package of membership benefits - so you will need to be a member of the CDI to take part. In this way we are able to offer a moderated and mediated forum which will avoid commercial bias and ensure that content complies with the CDI Code of Ethics.

How is the CoP managed?

We are working closely with the Careers & Enterprise Company to share communications and resources.
