Career Connect works in:
- Communities: helping young people aged 14-18 and those with an EHCP up to age 25 to understand their options, overcome barriers and access education, employment or training. We build strong relationships with our participants, local authorities and agencies to deliver impartial, impactful careers support.
- Public, third, and private sector organisations: delivering accredited training development to careers professionals and anyone in an advisory role. The team is also in its seventh year as a provider of the Level 6 Careers Leaders programme (funded by the CEC). - More than 230 UK schools and colleges: delivering support to students in all educational settings and linking pupils with the world of work through strong employer relationships. Career Connect is endorsed as an accrediting body for the Quality in Careers Standard at both primary and secondary level. Our expert teams champion a flexible and person-centric approach, working with participants and clients to deliver the experience that will help them best.
We also produce regular research reports, often in collaboration, to highlight what works in CEIAG. Topics include early intervention to prevent NEET, ADHD, elective home education, and place-based factors on youth employment. Our team has also contributed to a number of APPGs.
In the 2024 UK Best Companies to Work For list, Career Connect was ranked a Top 100 Best Large Company, Top 75 Company in the Northwest and Top 25 Charity.
