About Me

I've been working as a careers adviser and career consultant since qualifying with the PG Dip CG and QCG in 2008, since moving on from an experientially rewarding career in the BBC.  My own career path has shown me that life and work should be an enjoyable and satisfying mix, and that change can be both challenging and fulfilling. Any transition period involves some uncertainty, and it's my role to help individuals find the best ways forward.   

I am now a freelance consultant, happy to work with students or adults seeking guidance or mentoring on career issues.  I use Morrisby Online as a psychometric tool offered to school students in Years 10 - 13.

From 2016 - 2019 at Inspiring Futures I specialised in working with school students in international schools outside the UK, but I also have years of experience of working with students in UK schools from Year 7 upwards.  I have worked as Head of Careers in a school in Surrey, responsible for designing and delivering the Careers Education programme in school, and via Inspiring Futures have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds towards work, apprenticeships, degrees or other training programmes.  

I am qualified to deliver and feedback for the the Morrisby Online psychometric profile. 

Whilst at the BBC I was an accredited Career Coach, working with staff who needed support with transition in their careers. I welcome all opportunities to help individuals with career issues.

I am also a CDI career mentor, helping to support fellow professionals in their career.
