International Centre for Guidance Studies (iCeGS)
Based at the University of Derby, iCeGS is a research centre carrying out research and consultancy focused on the career development profession and widening access. iCeGS also offers training, including a range of accredited learning programmes to doctoral level, including the Qualification in Career Development. With researchers with academic and professional backgrounds, working with a network of associates and partners, iCeGS' ethos connects their research to policy and practice.
The CDI and iCeGS
iCeGS has been the research partner of the CDI for many years, supporting with research approaches and most recently on the research to support Chartership.
The organisations also co-deliver the National Research Conference for Practitioners (with NICEC and AGCAS) and are both members of the Career Development Policy Group.
