This is a course suited to people:
- who are working at level 4, training to be a Career Development Professional or newly qualified
- wanting to think about inclusion of disabled people in their work
- considering ways to make reasonable adjustments to their practice

The course will run over 4 sessions covering:
- Disability – what is it?
- Mental capacity
- Effective communication
- Making sense of our senses
- Person-centred planning, circles of support and Advocacy
- Preparing to express independent views
- Community Inclusion and Developing Independence
You will receive additional resources on:
- Support available within education, employment and work-related learning, including funding, types of provision and services including SEND systems - Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP)/Individual Development Plan (IDP)/Coordinated Support Plan (CSP)
