NICE brings together HE institutions and individuals involved in the academic training of career practitioners. Funded by the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme from 2009-2015, NICE is now managed by the NICE Foundation.

The network includes over 250 individuals from more than 40 countries, representing more than 50 training programs for career practitioners across Europe. As one of the founding members, the CDI continues to work with the NICE network. 

NICE produces a range of publications and runs an annual Academie - learning and networking events for professionals and academics workijg in career guidance and counselling.
