CDI opportunities in Northern Ireland

The CDI would love to hear from anyone working in career development in Northern Ireland who is interested in promoting the CDI and supporting members in the area.

CDI Associate role

This is a paid Associate position for one or two days a month to promote the CDI and support members in the area, holding regular in-person and virtual meetings, giving talks at third party meetings and events, engaging stakeholders and more. You would also represent Northern Ireland members on the CDI Council.

Ethics and Professional Standards Committee

We currently have a vacancy for a Northern Ireland constituency representative on the CDI's Ethics and Professional Standards Committee (EPSC). The EPSC is a crucial part of our professional governance, advising the CDI Board on issues related to professional standards, maintaining the Code of Ethics and being consulted by the CDI Board on any constitutional changes.

Membership of the EPSC is by election, but we are keen to hear from any members who are interested in representing Northern Ireland in this important role.

To discuss either role, please contact David Morgan at david.morgan@thecdi.net.

Career Matters magazine

Career Matters is the professional magazine for members of the Career Development Institute. Posted free to members, the magazine reflects the broad membership of the CDI with regular features including sector news, LMI, professional practice, CPD and events, research, international articles, occupational information and resource and website reviews.

Each edition of Career Matters includes an update from each of the UK nations, including Northern Ireland, and we are keen to hear from researchers, practitioners and those working in policy who would like to contribute articles reflecting career development in Northern Ireland. Please contact: editor@thecdi.net

News by Email

We send a monthly newsletter to members covering the latest CDI and sector updates, and welcome your feedback on this. If you have suggested items to include related to Northern Ireland, please send them to david.morgan@thecdi.net.
