New briefing paper launched for quality assurance in careers education
The CDI's Community of Interest for Careers Education (COICE) has published it's second briefing paper to support best practice in schools and colleges. The paper - Quality Assurance of Careers Education and Guidance in Schools and Colleges - is a briefing for careers leaders, careers teachers, careers advisers and others involved in the quality approaches for careers education across the UK.
The briefing paper was authored by David Andrews OBE, co-author of the Careers Leader Handbook, with input from members of COICE as well as careers providers across the UK nations.
The briefing aims to help careers professionals decide how to go about quality assuring their careers provision and to signpost career development professionals to further references and sources of information.The paper;

- introduces the frameworks, standards and tools for quality assurance currently available in each of the four UK countries.
