Chris Percy PhD is a researcher working primarily on career trajectories, explainable AI, and economic development. All three of these specialisms came together in co-founding a careers information & advice chatbot in 2019. Chris’s work in the careers sector has included invited appearances to the House of Commons select committee on education, an on-screen expert role in a prime-time, three-part Channel 4 documentary on work experience and social mobility, and over 50 research publications. Chris’s current R&D work includes the potential for large language model AI to improve careers support."
