This session will provide a high level overview of student finance to enable you to provide the best advice to your prospective and current students. We will look at the core support package: Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loans and their respective changes for AY 25/26. We will also cover additional funding available such as Disabled Students Allowance, the Grants for Dependants range and the NHS learning support fund. The session shall also cover household income assessments, from whose income we require to what is considered as household income as well as how repayments work. We shall also share key tips for applications to ensure a smooth student journey and provide signposting to various resources to assist you with providing accurate IAG to your students, to enable them to progress with their higher education journey. The session will end with an opportunity for you to ask us questions during a Q&A.
