CXK Prisons IAG & Employability Service

CXK delivers a comprehensive careers programme across 10 prisons, having supported more than 10,000 prisoners in 2024 with careers information, advice, and guidance (IAG) alongside Work Ready, our structured employability training programme. We provide one-to-one careers guidance, helping prisoners set goals for sustainable employment, and deliver tailored employability training that builds confidence and job readiness. 99% of participants are satisfied with our support, and over 90% report increased confidence in making career decisions. Our work bridges the gap between custody and employment, ensuring prisoners leave with the skills, mindset, and guidance needed to break the cycle of reoffending.
