Amanda Mason, Career and Employment Consultant, Vitality360 

Amanda Mason is a Career Development Professional with over 25 years’ guidance experience in a range of settings. Through the UK Career Development Awards, she wants to highlight the value of having a CDP within a vocational rehabilitation setting. This is particularly relevant at this time given the numbers of people off work due to long term health conditions and the focus on getting them back into ‘good’ work. She develops and delivers vocational packages including career redirection, work coaching and return to work planning as part of the clinical rehabilitation journey for Vitality360 who specialise in pain and fatigue. 

Lizzie Vine, Careers Professional, CXK

Lizzie is a dedicated careers professional who transforms the futures of East Sussex’s most hard-to-reach young people. Supporting electively home-educated and NEET 16-18-year-olds, she provides tailored careers guidance, ensuring they overcome barriers to education and employment. Lizzie’s innovative approach includes drop-in sessions, bespoke college tours, and a self-developed careers resource pack. With up to 400 young people on her caseload, she remains a key support until Year 13. Her expertise extends to mentoring new staff and delivering post-16 training. Passionate, person-centred, and highly skilled, Lizzie’s work is life-changing for young people facing the greatest challenges. 

Bethan Williams, Careers Adviser, Careers Wales  

Careers Wales is enhancing its Working Wales service to improve support for neurodivergent customers. Careers Adviser, Bethan Williams has developed an introductory support package providing written and visual information to neurodivergent customers visiting the Careers Centre for the first time. The introductory pack includes a Welcome Wall of staff photos with names and job titles. The customer can see who their adviser will be on the day as well as other key members of the team. Bethan has also led on the development of a hugely successful Inclusive Jobs Fair further enhancing the support and outcomes for this customer group.
