During 2024 we will be developing our Environment and Sustainability Strategy, to play our part in addressing climate change and  working as a responsible organisation.

This strategy will reflect our 'Working for a Fair Future' pillar as part of the CDI's 2025 Strategy. Examples of recent changes the CDI has made to improve our environmental footprint include:

• Refurbishing the CDI offices with low-energy lighting including timer control to reduce energy use.
• Replacing the plastic packaging on Career Matters magazines with a compostable alternative.
• Moving the majority of meetings, training sessions and conferences online to reduce travel.
