About Me
Bella is an award winning, Certified Careers Development Professional who brings 17 years of global careers experience, gained from the UK, the United Arab Emirates and Canada. She has years of rigorous training in psychology, client-centred/psychodynamic counselling, and specialised career theory knowledge with application to practice. Bella ascribes to Patton and McMahon’s System Theory Framework (1995, 1999, 2006, 2014), looking at how we learn about careers from the variety of complex systems around us, and how this can influence and increase our understanding of the career choices we make. A careers enthusiast, Bella has provided career management expertise in across Higher Education, Consultancy and publicly-funded service sectors, serving under/post grads at university, right through to Senior Executive level employees, from all sectors of the labour market. She is currently working in Outplacement Service provision. Bella contributes a weekly post on LinkedIn called CDP Thought For The Week, which champions professional identity and pride of CDP work to the professionals providing these services. Its aim is to unite CDP’s working around the world, so that the marketing message can be coherently understood about who CDP’s are and what they do.
