About Me

I am employed as a Careers Adviser working with young people at CXK, a charity that works across the South East of England.

With over fifteen years’ worth of experience in the Secondary, Further & Higher Education sectors, I write regularly for the CXK Careers Blog which, is sent to Head Teachers across Kent and have presented at conferences for careers professionals in London, Leicester and at Canterbury Christ Church University.  I deliver a range of one-to-one and group guidance, as well as assemblies and CPD sessions for staff.

Qualified to level 6 through the Diploma in Careers Guidance; in addition I hold the LDSS NVQ level 4 and a Certificate in Education.

Passionate about supporting and enabling individuals to make informed decisions, where they are responsible for their own decision making and plans. I take a non-judgemental and client centred approach so, no matter what the idea I will listen and help students to seek clarity in their aims for the future.

I attend strategic meetings regionally and take part in the national CEIAG debate and agenda. I am the current elected chair of the Careers Writers Association.
