Emily Maguire

About Me

I'm a level 7 registered career development consultant (RCDP) ​with over 20 years of business management and mentoring experience; an experienced coach and mentor with over 500 coaching and mentoring hours, working with clients worldwide. I also actively contribute to developing the coaching and mentoring profession.

My training includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Development, a Psychology Degree, an ILM Level 5 in Professional Coaching and Mentoring, a Life Coaching Diploma, and Mindfulness Teaching. I am also a Mental Health First Aider. 

Alongside coaching, I am also the Managing Director of Reflections Talent Agency™. An international company whose talent has worked worldwide in high-profile projects. Some recent work includes; Mission Impossible, Dungeons and Dragons, Sanditon, Carnival Row, 5lbs of Pressure and Operation Fortune. Over the years, I've also worn the hats of a producer, casting director, actor and voice talent!

In career guidance, I gained a postgraduate in Career Development at NTU. I have worked with companies like Shaw Trust as an advocate for the unemployed, helping clients build their self-awareness and confidence, interviewing skills, and finding suitable work. I am also the regional representative of Yorkshire and Humberside for the Career Development Institute. 

As a freelancer, I also work as a business coach, most recently working with Rethink Mental Illness as a Therapeutic Business Coach, helping business owners maintain mental resilience, offering them support and guidance through any transitions they encounter, helping them pursue their work-related goals and find a work/life balance.

Trained in curriculum design, with an Award in Education and Teaching qualification, I develop bespoke career development workshops. I also produce Labour Market Reports and LMI Arts and Media Career Resources for schools and organisations. I can also be seen giving advice and guidance on the creative industries at Career Fairs. 

I am a member of EMCC and CDI and subscribe to their Code of Ethics.
