About Me

Hi, I'm Katie Conley and I run Conley Career Coaching. 

Engaging, Dedicated, Insightful - that's what my clients say about me and the career coaching I offer. I am a Licensed Career Coach, an Accredited Strengths Profile practitioner, and a Registered Professional with the Career Development Institute.  I have many years’ experience of helping people with their careers, from running career development workshops, to providing 1 to 1 career coaching, to creating personal development plans or identifying skills gaps and solutions, but most of all helping people grow in skills and confidence. I specialise in helping people grow get the clarity they need to take their next career step.

Coaching people to help them get the most from their careers is what I love to do! Throughout my varied career the times I've enjoyed the most are when I've been talking with people about what they do and why! I've managed Graduate Recruitment Programmes, delivered Career Development Workshops, created Personal Development Plans, provided Career Coaching and delivered lots of Skills Development training. I've been a Sales Assistant, Waitress, Training Officer, Head of Department, Non Exec Director and Director of my own consulting business, all of which has brought me into contact with a wide range of people. I've always been keen to learn about the choices people make for their working lives and help them make changes, learn new things, or take on new challenges. 

I am an empathetic listener and keen questioner and love to see the 'lightbulb' moments when a client makes a career breakthrough whether that's to make small or big changes in their careers or just to reinforce what they love to do.  Most of all it's great to see people encouraged in their career choices and to have been able to be a part of their career journey.
